Girls’ Frontline 2 Banners: How to Check Recruitment Rules

Before using recruitment resources in Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium, check the event details in your own game client. An old banner article can describe a different region, date or version. This guide explains what to verify rather than recommending a currently featured character.

Check your version and official announcement

Confirm which publisher and service your account uses. Official information is available from Sunborn and HAOPLAY. Use the notice relevant to your client; do not assume that dates quoted for another service apply to you.

Read the full event start and end times, including the time zone. Compare them with the client before acting. Search-result snippets and screenshots shared without a date can be misleading.

Read the recruitment screen before spending resources

Open the banner’s Details information and answer these questions:

  • Which characters or weapons are available, and which have an increased rate?
  • Does the stated percentage describe the chance on every attempt, or a conditional chance after obtaining a particular rarity?
  • What resources does an attempt consume, and is any purchase necessary?
  • What does the guarantee counter cover, and what happens to it when this event ends?
  • Does the notice say a limited item will enter a standard pool later?

If the screen does not answer one of these, check the relevant official notice or support information before using resources. Do not replace a missing rule with a claim from an old guide.

An example of why the wording matters

Sunborn’s 8 October 2026 Liushih rate-up notice describes separate character and weapon procurement events and independent guaranteed counts. It also places conditions on the displayed featured-item probabilities and specifies which items are limited. These are details of that announcement, not a universal rule for every event or publisher version.

A conditional featured-character percentage is not automatically the probability of receiving that character on a single attempt. Read the rarity probability and the featured-item condition together. Do not add numbers from different banners or treat a weapon counter as a character counter without an explicit rule allowing it.

Decide what a new unit would add

Identify the gap you are trying to fill: damage, support, survivability or a particular team interaction. Read the unit’s in-game skills and any available trial description. A strong claim in a tier list is less useful if it assumes equipment or teammates your account does not have.

Write down your resource limit before opening the recruitment screen. Reaching that limit is a reason to stop and reassess. An approaching deadline does not make a result more likely, and a claim of good luck is not evidence about probabilities.

A quick checklist before recruitment

Check the publisher and client, the event dates and time zone, the resources required, the probability wording and the guarantee rules. Then compare the unit’s role with your existing team and your resource limit. If a rule is unclear, pause and check the official notice or support information before using resources.
